Throughout my time spent in Florida, I was lucky enough to meet Bill Morrissey, a legendary skydiver. He has shared so many stories with me, describing some amazing experiences he has had throughout his many years in the sport of skydiving. So naturally, when he asked me to paint his helmet, I was thrilled.
All he wanted me to paint was his name in large letters and his USPA license number. His only stipulation was that it had to match the color of his canopy- hot pink. I eagerly obliged to his request and this was the end result. I always enjoy the opportunity to incorporate hand-lettering into a design because it is one of my favorite aspects of customization. Unlike stencils, hand-lettering gives the composition an additional level of personalization.
